The Lyric Chorale, directed by Chrisanne Yule, presents a holiday concert:

CAROLS AROUND THE WORLD

Chrisanne Yule directs The Lyric Chorale in CAROLS AROUND THE WORLD on Saturday, December 10 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Louis Church, 60 South Main Street, Pittsford and Sunday, December 11 at 2:30 p.m. at Perinton Presbyterian Church, 6511 Pittsford Palmyra Road , Fairport.

This concert features Conrad Susa’s Carols and Lullabies: Christmas in the Southwest for chorus, with Barbara Dechario, harpist, Hannah Weaver, percussionist and Kinloch Nelson, classical guitarist. The suite is composed of traditional Spanish carols, some of which are rhythmic and energetic and others which are hauntingly beautiful. The concert also includes many interesting arrangements of traditional carols such as Away in a  Manger, Friendly Beasts, Here We Come A’Caroling, and Deck the Halls.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door, $12 for seniors and students.  Advance tickets are available at the St. Louis Ministry Center (586-5675) or at www.lyricchorale.org
